SECTION INTERNATIONALE HAS THE ANSWER TO BILINGUAL EDUCATION

We are an independent organisation
supporting bicultural education in the Paris area.

We focus on enabling each child to achieve his or her potential in English, in tandem and in complement to their French national curriculum studies, equipping them with the necessary skills to succeed in a global society.

PRIMARY

For children aged 5-10 years, choose between 3 hours (Wednesday) or 6 hours (Integrated/External) a week. In small classes, our native English-speaking teachers follow the British national curriculum.

COLLEGE

Our college programme of 6 hours per week provides a bilingual, bi-cultural education with pupils presenting the Brevet Option Internationale at the end of 3ème.

LYCÉE

With 6 hours per week in 2nde, students follow the Cambridge IGCSE English Literature course. With 8 hours per week in 1ere and Terminale, students prepare and sit the BFI at the end of Terminale.

PRIMARY AFTER SCHOOL ENGLISH

We offer English as a Foreign Language (EFL) for French-speaking children on a Wednesday (1,5 hours a week) in small classes, with an emphasis on oral work.

Admissions for School Year 24/25 are now closed, however we still have availability in certain levels.

Nos enfants maintiennent un niveau bilingue en anglais grâce à un apprentissage dynamique et interactif de la langue. De plus, les effectifs à « taille humaine » permettent aux enseignants anglophones d’être disponibles et à l’écoute de leurs élèves. Les professeurs sont très impliqués et proposent une pédagogie stimulante pour les enfants qui, malgré les heures et les efforts supplémentaires, apprécient d’aller en cours d’anglais.

My daughter attended the Wednesday program for CM2 and it was quite helpful in improving her writing skills which was critical for a bilingual child who grew up speaking English but didn’t have the language support in French local schools.
